FORMATION YEARS AND EDUCATION

Born and raised in Media, PA, his formative years were a canvas on which his diverse interests and talents took shape. His educational journey led him to the University of Delaware, where he immersed himself in Engineering Technology from 1995 to 2000. Simultaneously, he embarked on a musical journey as the bass player for the local band, The Healthy Doses. It was in the 9th grade that his passion for music took root when he enthusiastically embraced the world of electric bass playing. Ever since he has relished the experience of connecting with audiences through the music he helps to create.

JOURNEY INTO THE WORKFORCE

His professional odyssey began with a rich tapestry of experiences, ranging from summer adventures at Lake Powell to working in a custom fabrication shop on the outskirts of Philadelphia. However, it was in 2003 that he discovered his true calling in sales while working at Hoshino USA in Bensalem, PA. Starting in quality control, he honed his skills in setting up and repairing electric guitars and basses before transitioning to an inside sales role where he mastered the art of telesales.

In 2011, a pivotal moment he arrived when Michael Raymond Stankus joined MRP as an account executive, where he showcased his dedication and unwavering professionalism. His exceptional work was recognized as 'Account Executive of the Month' in June and October 2015. Later, he assumed a crucial role in Sales Enablement, managing Cisco's extensive partner lead program with over 300 partners nationwide.

In 2022, he embarked on a new chapter by joining eLocal's Sales Development team while maintaining his steadfast commitment to excellence.

HOBBIES AND PERSONAL LIFE

Beyond his thriving professional life, he has cultivated a vibrant personal world enriched with an eclectic array of hobbies, including motorcycling, guitar repair, kite flying, bicycling, and indulging in video games.

Music remains a constant companion in his life, with his live performance journey commencing during college with The Healthy Doses, further flourishing with bands like Natural Selection and Jah People. Gracing stages across Philadelphia the Jersey Shore, and expanding to DC and NYC, he treasures the profound connection he forges with audiences when he plucks those bass strings.

Despite his whirlwind of hobbies and professional commitmentshe has always prioritized his family. He met his future wife, Rachel, at a Flaming Lips concert in Philadelphia, and from that moment, their inseparable journey began. By 2015, they had relocated to Collingswood, NJ, with their daughter Cecilia, seeking enhanced educational opportunities. Their family joyfully expanded once more in 2020 with the birth of their son, Sammy.

CHARITABLE ACTIVITIES

Michael Raymond Stankus's commendable spirit of community service and altruism has been ingrained in him since his early days in Boy Scouts and Civil Air Patrol. This sense of responsibility and commitment came to the forefront during his participation in MLK Day in 2019, where he joined his company's community service day to clean up a neighborhood in Philadelphia's Kensington area. Once again, his professionalism shone through in his dedication to positively impacting his community.
